That reminds me, for those that have done racing, you know you can essentially steer with the throttle... having a locker in a turn is kind of like that......

I agree with Hari. There really wasn't a reason to put locking hubs in the front, I think they're used to the "little" Jeeps where locking hubs are "standard"...

FWIW, the VC only appears in the NP229 (and 219?) not the BW1339 QuadraTrac, which has cones and washers to effect true limited slip... there was a big debate...
