Hello gang! Just signed on, and have a had a quick look around....but still
haven't found an answer to my question....
I see that CENTURION did F150 to CC conversions....were they ALL 4 Wheel
Drives??
I think the F-150CC would work well for me, but I'm not a huge believer in
4WD, so my preference would be a 2WD.
So, did they make any?...or am I'm going to have to suck it up and buy a 4x4??
Thanks!

Love the info on the door locks.. We are trying to figure out why the
limo door handle lights, and half the runningboard lights are out.. ???
I have another dumb question.. My truck has the usual wood console..
but it opens upwards and to the back.. Looks like it had the tube
tv..There are screwholes on the edges where something was removed..
and wiring that goes into the box.. with a plug in adaptor on the end..
but for the life of me.. cannot figure out how.. Last one the tv
was mounted towards the back seat..and sat in the back of the
console.. could be lifted out.. had controls on top...If anyone has
pics of their console they could send.. would love it..
eventually we do want a more modern TV... But in the meantime.. we
are trying to figure out how the original went in.. Greg thinks
perhaps it lifted up when the console was opened.. ?
This one has a hidden box in the end of the console.. a cup holder
that lifts out.. with a "hidden" space underneath...great for hiding
the GPS when not in use...
and yes.. the truck has the old boomerang TV antennae.. As well as a
couple celll antennaes. and CB radio.. ( which lived behind the back
seat.. not attached..LOL!
Just curious..

They are not fuses on the later models, but rather they are circuit breakers for the rear glass, CB 12 and CB 14 on the inside fuse panel. CB 12 is always hot and also provided power to the power door locks, and power lumbar. It provides power to the rear key switch for the rear window. So if they work fuse 12 is okay.CB 14 is only powered when the key is on and also powers the power windows up front. If your front power windows work fine then CB 14 is okay.
You'll need to check your owners guide to see if your 89 uses fuses or circuit breakers

Hi! Just bought this big beast for hauling snow plowing equipment here in Colorado. Works great, but I think I might have fried the rear window motor when some ice got stuck in there. Trying to check the fuses, seems like there are (2) 25 amps but no schematic on where they go. Anyone have a diagram on the fuse box? Motor looks easy enough to replace, but might get lucky with the fuses. Also where do you go for parts? Thanks
You can find their location if you have a service manual for the Bronco/F-150 from Haynes. I'll check mine when I get home this evening. The window regulator motors have not to my knowledge changed from 1987 to 1996. I've had to replace the torque pins in my '88 Bronco and '96 Centurion on numerous occasions. If you can hear the motor running without the window going up or down, about 90% of the time its the torque pins. The rest of the time its either the linkage to the key assembly or the rubber grommet around the driver side door latch pin deteriorating not allowing the safety switch to operate correctly. Torque pins when you can find them are about $2.50 for a set of three and Bennett Auto Supply carries them here locally. You can also find the entire gear and torque pins for around $7.00 to $9.00 from Advanced Auto Parts. I'm not sure about Autozone but
those are the major parts houses here in town.
Whenever I work on the rear window motor, I lower the tailgate and remove the inner door panel. I then place a saw horse behind the truck to support the glass. I close the driver side door latch and raise the window all the way up and support it with the sawhorse. You can now access the motor and the rest of the door hardware. Lubricate the gears and it never hurt me to put a little silicone spray on the felt window guides.

Steve,
Just bought a 1989 Centurion. The rear window is stuck in the down position. Not
sure what to check first, any thoughts on that? Thanks in advance.

There is a four door bronco in my area for sale and was wondering how big of a pain it is to restore one of these. It needs TLC and a little work on the roof. (No surprise) Wondering what I could do for interior or if I have to go custom. Do normal body fenders fit or no. Thanks for the answers in advance.

I have a 1988 Centurion Metropolitan Magnum that I picked up a few years ago as a project. I had the trans rebuilt and started on the brakes along with taking the soft top off getting it ready for body work and paint. I have not touched it in years and am looking to sell. I thought to ask here before I called recycling yards in the area to come and pick it up. Anyone interested in a cheap project or a parts car? Let me know. I can send pictures and more/better discription if needed.

i hate to get rid of it,it has sat pretty much all summer long.i do
start and let it run at least every 2 weeks
it does need patch pannels on rear quarters, roof is peeled but dosen't
leak. every thing works except L.rear door all of a sudden won't open.it
has a 130k something on it. it has remote start & alarm.5.8 L ,e4od
transmission, bw4405 transfer case,8.8 posi rear end.i installed new
ball joints less than 2 years ago,at that time it also got new axle
joints and L.O.hubs were converted from auto lock to manual. it has a 6"
lift kit,aluminum wheels,tires are in excelant cond. 31x12.50x15. 7
passenger seating,4 leather captins chairs and a fold down bench in
rear. has rear heat & a.c. black w/grey interior ......DAVE RAMSEY
says....sell $5500.00 i can get pix upon request. thx.
I have a 1993 model Ford Centurion. It has 120,000 miles, very few rust spots,
7-passenger seating, electric trailer brake system, clean interior, A/C needs
work. Nice collector vehicle. It has a 351 Windsor V8, fully loaded. Asking
$4500 OBO.
We have a 1993 C150 centurion that has a 6" lift it is too tall for me to easily get in and out of. It's my husband's daily driven vehicle. I only ride in it in bad weather normally.
Every time I try to get in it he feels bad watching me struggle to get in.
So he is looking for a cheap way to get it bad down to stock height.
He would like to know what years of F150 has compatible suspension parts.

Hello everyone!
Brand new & got here by mistake(THANK GOD!) I just purchased a 1992 Ford E-350
Cabriolet, which is basically half of a van built for towing a fifth-whell.
Is this what you guys are talking about when you say "Centurion," or am I in the
wrong place?
If I am, would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction?
Many Thanks,
Gary
the engine parts are available both aftermarket and thru your local Ford or
Navistar dealer for the engines . the engine was built by navistar for Ford to
use in thier f series trucks.
