One time this group had a meet and greet in Manteca and it went really

times but just have never done it.

Here's The First Draft of The Route of the EL PASO POSSE...

It is NOT set in stone, it IS the direct route (for several reasons
of which time will be the biggest). The plan is to start Wednesday,
June 6th at 7 am, and spend at least 15 minutes at each train stop
(BOLD PRINT) up to 30 minutes (will adjust as needed / required).
Also lunch and dinner stops are to be determined, but need to be one

I'm Dale Peterson, I ride a 650 Burgman EX and really enjoying it.  My
wife and I live 45 miles south of Reno, NV.  I don't think there are
any scooter clubs here but do have a riding buddy down the road who
has a 650 Burgman.  I'm 70 years young and traded my Harley for the
burgman because it's just plain easier to ride, handles better on
these Sierra/Nevada twisties.  I ride over the passes to Jackson every
once in a while and enjoy the gold country.  See you on the road.

Hello all.

I've been contemplating a road trip to Yosemite, since I've never
been there.
I would love to do it on the bike.  According to Google maps it is
about 180 miles and over 4 hours away from home.
Would anyone be interested in doing such a ride?
Or has anyone done such a ride?
If you have, would you share your experience, options, or advice on
such a road trip?

Being over 4 hours away and wanting to spend some time looking at
this place, I've thought about staying a night.  Motorcycle camping
would be another first for me.
Well camping would be a first.  I've had a cab-over camper on my old
truck before, but never camped in a tent, or camp ground.

kept my Maj. But with two kids in college and one more not far behind
it just wasn't feesible. Will you be buying new or used? I am not
really sure what a PC800 is.
All I know is, I am loving my new bike and someday, like you I hope to

He puts a 30-40,000 miles a year on them, knows them thoroughly and has a lot of rides mapped out. He commutes on one of his four PC800s from around Placerville to Concord (236 miles RT each day.) He has purchased PCs on the East Coast twice and ridden them across the country. He also organizes the The Great Pacific Coast Highway Pacific Coast Motorcycle Year 2006 Motorcycle Ride. His website is a lot of fun and has everything you'd want to know about the Pacific Coast 800.

Hi All,

I wanted to check in and say hello as I have not been faithful
lately to visiting this site.

I have done something that you all may find offensive. That is I
have crossed over to the other side and bought a Yamaha Vstar 1100!
I wish I could have kept my Majesty but I could not justify keeping
both and right now I am having a great time riding the Vstar.

Because I no longer have my scooter, I was wondering if any of you
would like to take over as moderator of this group? It is a great
way to communicate and plan rides and it would be a shame to let the
site go. There really is nothing to being the moderator.
Occasionally you have to go in a delete a member who tries to
advertise...but other than that..piece of cake.

Maybe at some point I will be able to afford to have my Vstar and
another scooter. If so, I would like to get a bigger one like a
Silverwing or Burg. Until then I hope one of you might step up and
moderate the group. I would like to stay on as a member because I
have a true passion for maxi scooters.

I sold  my Maj for a very good price to a nice gal in San Mateo who
absolutely loves it. She was riding a Honda Elite 80 scooter back
and forth to work everyday in the bay area. She loves her new Maj.

Anyway, I hope to hear from some of you and hope that you will use
this site to plan local rides.
