Thanks for the link. I have met Bruce Mann and his '89 PC800 this past monday afternoon. The know each other and Bruce mentioned Leland.
I've since joined their site. They seem to be a great bunch. They remind me of the Reflex group. Hell! They even have a Bruce. =p.
I won't be give up my Reflex. I know that the PC800 will never be as easy to ride as my Reflex. Sorry guys I'll be still lurking around. ^_^.
I just got off the phone with the dealer, he seems to be flexable about the price.
One reason is that the bike is a salvage title. He said that it came from a dealer trade in. Since he is a salvage dealer, he has to sell the bike under a salvage title. The bike have never been downed or in an accident. They replaced the radiator, front tire, front brakes, and rear tire-used.
I hope to talk him down somemore.
I just love the feeling of the bike and the look. It looks like a super scooter.
Bert.

Hi Bert,
If you are thinking about a PC you would enjoy this sight, http://www.directcon.net/lcshepp/lelandspc800page.html . Leland is a California guy who has four PCs and has ridden them for many years. He puts a 30-40,000 miles a year on them, knows them thoroughly and has a lot of rides mapped out. He commutes on one of his four PC800s from around Placerville to Concord (236 miles RT each day.) He has purchased PCs on the East Coast twice and ridden them across the country. He also organizes the The Great Pacific Coast Highway Pacific Coast Motorcycle Year 2006 Motorcycle Ride. His website is a lot of fun and has everything you'd want to know about the Pacific Coast 800.

I'm finding that if I had 2 motorcycle/scooter, I can ride still if one is down for servicing or waiting on parts. There are also more opertunity to join other group rides or outings.Bert.Milpitas, CA
