- 1993 models: antilock brake system warranty extended to 10 years/160,000 km on the pump and its motor, some parts are covered under a lifetime warranty. This also includes reimbursement for previous repairs.
- Unexpected violent steering oscilations may be due to a defective steering damper (small shock absorber unique to this design). Have the damper checked and replaced as necessary.
- 1991-1995 models with a 4 cyl engine: Defective catalytic converter, free replacement covered by recall.
- 1991-93 models: antilock brake system warranty extended to 10 years/160,000 km for the pump and its motor, some parts are covered under a lifetime warranty. This also includes reimbursement for previous repairs.
- 1993-1996 models: the AC condenser and compressor are covered by an extended warranty (7 years/115,000 km, parts and labour).
- 1993-1997 models: an adjustment policy left to the discretion of the dealer covers the AC evaporator for 7 years/115,000 km parts only.
- Front disk brake rotors on 1993-98 models: Rotors can corrode and foil. Free replacement coverd by recall.
- The alloy rims can stick to the rear brake drums: apply an antiseize compound.

- If the AC condenser breaks down, ask for the same warranty coverage as the 1993-96 Grand Cherokee (see the following report).
