The Canetoads were created in 1999 by traditionalscooterists from Brisbane and England. It was orginally created for traditional scooters i.e Vespa and Lambretta geared, however, as time has worn on we have realised that we would have no new members and after all its 21st century. Its now open to all types of scooters, we have overnight runs and some of the members organise Sunday rides. We don't really cater for 50cc's on the overnight runs or rideouts but everyone is welcome at the meeting. This is held on the second Saturday of each month at the Grand Central Station, Ann Street in the city from 2pm onwards don't expect to see many scooters at the meetings as this is more of a social drink so the scooters are left at home.
