talked about EDrive Systems' conversion Monday in a 4-minute segment on
Marketplace, National Public Radio's afternoon business show.

You can hear it at:

Revving it up
Host David Brown talks with LA Times transportation columnist Dan Neil
about fuel economy, hybrids, golf carts and Ferraris.

Brief notes:
How far is to possible to stretch your gasoline.

"It's a pretty cool piece of engineering...This is a really nice installation."

"The plug-in hybrid concept is gaining a lot of traction, not just with
green environmentalists. What it does is bring the electrical
infrastructure back into the transportation equation much like electric
cars did 10 or 15 years ago, but at that point the technology just wasn't
sustainable.

Hyrid technology being used not to make cars more efficient but to make
them faster.

Efficiency enables you to increase performance or fuel economy.
