Does any one out there know what the hell that bundle of wires that
goes through the passenger side fire wall is for on a 83 CJ-5? Is it
important stuff or can I hack it out while doing a motor swap? I am
putting in a 4.3L Vortec and am looking to clean up under the hood
and that hole would be perfect to run my wiring harness for my "brain
box" through. I just got done hacking out the emission test port
wires that used to reside on the pass fender and would really like to
take a set of wire cutters to that other bundle running to
that "magic box" up in the heater ducting behind the dash. What can
I do away with and what do I need? I have been pulling my hair out
looking through my books and it isn't telling me and those diagrams
are all greek to me. All help is much appreciated in advance, and
keep on Jeepin!!!
