So far that's the only answer Ive gotten so far,
I would like to find a hinge that mounts from the inside that would
allow the roof flap to open the full way open (360 degrees)

I havent found a suitable latch yet either, I've seen pictures of
Funny
car escape hatch latches but in the pictures they seem huge.
