Isn't the recommended interval more like 60k? That's the marker at which I
took my '02 SR5 Access in for the "major tuneup," which included timing
belt... I'm now just under 110, and thinking I need to be planning for it
around 120. Thoughts on whether I can / should go longer??? I'm pretty
conservative MOST of the time :), but do occasionally haul some stupid-heavy
loads with it.
BTW, just got new skids on it today, the old Michelins went for 80k and
STILL had tread!Replaced them with a new set of Michelin LTX M/S
(265-70-16), after reading reviews on Discount Tire's website from others
who had gotten similarly ridiculous mileage out of theirs... There were two
other sets of Michelin radials available in that size, but on the others,
there were complaints about the tires wearing out rapidly, even though those
models are rated for longer life than the M/S... Go figure. Anyway, truck
now rides like I just put on a new suspension.
