I have been driving 4X4 pick-ups [for work to some extent] for nearly
40 years, and I find that my '07 TRD short bed ride on concrete roads
is normal. I have Big O 10 ply tires on it, and that stiffend up the
ride a bit, but I expected it.

In the end, we are driving trucks, with little weight over the rear
wheels [poor weight distribution] so this is to be expected. I do have
an across-the-bed tool box [full of stuff] and two spares up in the
bed, but that is not enough to make a difference in the ride.
