I get a horribly rough ride on my 08 4x4 on those expansion joints in
bad condition. Hard to take it. I had a 2000 Tundra 4x4 I traded in
and it drove like a limo over those same roads. Old tundra drove like
a Lexus, new one like a UPS van.

There are only two things that I know of that would cause this problem. Too much air pressure in the tires and too stiff rear springs. Check the easy one...
