Monthly bicycle rides : 1st Friday of Every Month, 6pm Civic Park,
Newcastle

A direct-action event for cyclists to protest about (but not limited
to):
Cleaner air, and more livable cities,
1,2,3,4 Cars and Petrol lead to war. 5,6,7,8 Cars Stink, Bikes are
great,
Allowed to travel sustainably, safely, and ON THE ROAD!
Bikes NOT Bombs
Allowed to Pedal for Peace : Stop driving the war machine that kills
with danger and toxic emissions,
Allowed: Imaginative solutions, not death and pollution,
Allowed to progress to less polluting transportation,
Allowed to have BEST:Better Ecologically Sustainable Transport
Allowed to have less death, disease, destruction, danger, and DRIVING!
Share the road does not mean cars get the lane and bikes get THE
GUTTER or CAR DOOR LANE,

While protesting, it is also a party atmosphere, so let's get
together Newcastle and bring noise maker's, horns, bells, costumes,
banners, flags, and whatever else you can think of.

Starting in September 1995 with the Newcastle University, Newcastle
Critical Mass has not died and the 10th Anniversary ride will be big.
