I am SAM, an Iraqi refugee living in Lebanon at the moment; I have spent the
last 10 years of my life as a refugee registered with the UNHCR in Beirut. The
last 4 years, I have spent as an activist for peace and human rights (especially
refugees and asylum seekers) on the Internet; I'm also books author and ebooks
publisher. I have launched many campaigns to improve our situation as refugees
in Lebanon and hopefully bring more understanding to our problems worldwide. I
helped make many changes and improvements at the UNHCR office in Beirut; I used

I've noticed that when accelerating in first gear, the transmission sounds
much louder, more 'mechanical', than in any other gear. I noticed it when I
was driving by a building with the passenger's side front window down last
week. Anyone else notice this?

I know some friends already who have met a few nice honeys off of this kind of

what do you think? I think it is mad cool from what I saw at my friend’s house,
and am thinking of signing up later today. Basically it's a regular
personalssite, but with an instant message and Webcams system built in.
Basically you join their chat-room on their site it gives you a link to those
people online in the chat-room, their location, their picture, etc and at one
click     you can start chatting to them over Webcam (even if you don't have
one). Pretty nifty stuff I think!

Thanks. I can access my phone and I can make and receive calls.

And I can even access the phone book through the "MODE" button on
the steering wheel. I just cannot access the phone book through
Voice.

Tried it with the dealer but they themself dont know about it and
lately I just haven't had the time to go there and check again with
them.

Well, since I don't believe there is anyone else here that has a 2006 A4,
you may be out of luck here.... I find it hard to believe that this isn't in
your Owner's Manual? Perhaps the dealer can help you out.....

I just bought 2006 Audi A4 2.0T fully loaded with Bluetooth (without
DVD navigation system).
I can receive and make calls from my car with the voice control system
and I can even scroll down and view my address book.

Here's my question...
When I speak "Phone book", I always get the message "NO ENTRIES IN THE
PHONE BOOK". How can I transfer my address book from my cell phone to
the car.

I was reading and I can transfer upto 500 entries into the car memory.
I have a Sony Ericsson T610 phone with T-Mobile service.

Has anyone driven the all new A4? The 1.8T has got only 150bhp, smaller than the
2001 model.

Has anyone out there had trouble with premature
cupping of your tires? Symptoms: prgressively louder
humming of tires, especially at certain speeds, and tread
blocks look and feel like jagged teeth on a saw blade.
I've tried Goodyear Eagles and Michelin Pilots with
the same results after less than 5000 miles.
Alignment is ok and tires rotated 5-6000 miles. Any ideas??
