Hi - these boots are available and I would change it if I were you (I keep 4 spare because a boot is a helluva lot cheaper than an axle/CV joint rebuild). Is there a split outer CV boot kit available for the '70 100LS? I know that it is not the proper way to fix it, but it looks like changing it the right way is beyond my capabilites/tools. Re: Need help with shift lever adjustment on '70 100LS 2 dr sedan I just adjusted the shift linkage on mine at the transmission to get a more positive engagement into 1st and 3rd.
