Subject: street mini for sale
Hi,
The reason I'm writing is that a long time acquaintance of mine has a mini for sale. I don't know if you are in a position to add to your collection, or maybe you know someone that would be.
The car is a '59 or '60 (mark 1) that was originally an 850. It has an Austin America 1275 and 4 synchro trans. It has hydrolastic suspension. It has been off the road for probably 5 years, but stored in a warehouse. It had been being driven periodically before that, and is a complete car. A cool item is that it has a set of 10x6 Revolution wheels, but needs tires. Body and interior are pretty good. I have not seen the car myself for about 3 years, but saw it regularly for many years before that ( I used to work with the owner).
Please let me know if you are interested. The owner is asking $7500. He did have a title (actually from a MG 1100, but registered in Wisconsin). He also needs money right now, so I'm sure he would be willing to negotiate.
See you soon,
Bruce Vollbrecht
