I have a 1983 AMC Eagle SX/4 hatchback for sale. It is four wheel drive This
vehicle has the option of 2 or 4 wheel drive with the flip of a switch. It has
been repainted with 23,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. It has been covered and
garage kept since being painted. The four wheel drive works very well. The
hatchback stays up when opened. The interior: front has bucket seats and ALL
seats are in good condition. The carpet is in good condition and the radio
works. The headliner needs to be re-stretched and attached. Gets great gas
mileage. I live in Lancaster County, PA.

I have two ramblers that I'm parting out. First one is a '69
rambler "440", all 4 doors complete with good glass, seats{green}, motor
{199} and auto trans is about all thats left as the fenders and
quarters are gone, (donor for my '68 Rogue.
Next is a '64 "330" wagon. Car is from California....VERY solid car,
just no title. Will sell whole or parts. This one is complete 196
with "3 on the tree" with a pull cable for overdrive. Does start and
move, just doesn't stop very well as the wheel cyl. are all froze.
I have pics of both if anyone is interested, just hoping someone can
use these before they go to the crusher.

Hi,

We just listed our 74 Javelin which was a restoration project for us on Ebay.
Unfortunately
with kids and finances we just can't do it so are auctioning it off as a whole
lot. Someone did
contact me privately about the tick tock tach panel so we may be revising the
auction as they
wish to purchase it alone. Here's a link to the auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/
eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200257209091

I just figure some day when things are more settled down we'll look for an
already restored
71-74 Javelin!

THanks!

I've been checking out some of the local Dallas/Ft.
Worth yards but haven't seen any new additions as of
late so I'm doing a little networking here. Anyone
know the whereabouts of any 70-74 Gremlin/Hornets in
the DFW area?

I know of a place in Denton that has two Gremlins with
trees growing through various parts. Their both too
far gone. Anyway, the guy never seems to sell
anything (not sure how he stays in biz).

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have a set of nice Turbocast II wheels and the four
corresponding AMC center caps that I am going to
install on my '72 Gremlin.

Does anyone know how to best repair/replace the rubber
center gasket piece that holds the caps in? The
originals are still there but I'm not sure they're
good enough to keep the caps secured.

Thoughts, suggestions, ideas?

Thanks.

Anyone have any experience with having their car soda
blasted prior to painting? I've heard about it but
have not seen it done. I did see a car this weekend
that had been blasted and coded with that green
aircraft like primer. The sheetmetal was just as
smooth as can be....you could also see the dings and
body filler too (hadn't been painted yet).

My shell of a 72 Gremlin has two layers of paint, one
peeling off all over. I'm thinking of going the soda
blast route inside and out to get down to the cleanest
possible sheetmetal surface.

Thoughts?

I'm back on my '72 Gremlin project and am adding a

similar to the one at this link:

Has anyone replaced these clips? If so, are these the

You can also pull a used distributor off any HEI-equipped GM 6 cylinder from the
seventies from your local junk yard, and modify it to fit (use the AMC drive
gear, and I believe on V-8's you have to mill 1/8" or so off the end of the
shaft -- but check for yourself).
