Nolan is correct. You need to push back on the lower front edge of the seat cushion to release it from an inverted c-shaped retainer on each side of the car.

How do you get the back seat out? I can't see any bolts underneath, but if I lift up on it, it doesn't move much. I want to replace the carpet, and I imagine
