I had my local hose maker to mount new hoses on the old fittings.

Hi all,
I have noticed that the fuel hose which connects the 3 carburetors to the
fuel hose coming from the filter is leaking fuel. I still have the original
yellow between the copper elements and I was wondering whether anybody has
some advice how to replace the original (yellow) hose with a new hose,
preferably maintaining the copper pieces (which I think are rather
characteristic) .
Another problem I have is with the fuel meter: it varies wildly and is very
quick to report an empty fueltank (red light in the meter is on). Is there
anyone with similar experience and who can tell me how to fix this?
Thanks in advance,
Hank Stokbroekx
