Hey what kind of power is expected off the cam? I'm looking to build a
roller 2.5L and I was thinking cam swap.....but was wondering the power
difference over stock cam.

Since there is not much you can really do with these things...I was
headed in the direction of porting & polishing out the head and
converting to roller rockers and combined with the roller cam. But I
was going to go the direction of a HEI distributor with vac advance
tied to a MSD 6A box and with a non-computer carb.
I'm looking for a used intake other than the stock carb intake I have
off an earlier motor. I have seen older 2 barrel & 4 barrel setups...I
wouldn't mind finding either or, but perhaps the 4 barrel would be
better. I'm not worried about hood clearance in an S-10 as I'm going
to go with a cowl induction hood so I'll have some room to play with.

I was looking for the best performance & miles per gallon being what
gas is these days....despite the current drop. So I was going the
route of the 2.5L and a 5 speed and to set the rear for posi.

I'd like to hear your results
