Im not sure if you will get any answer. If you don't try Airforums. That group
is spread far and wide across these United States and Europe with some 36,000
members , There should be someone that can tell you where to get the parts and
do it yourself or suggest a place to take it too.
To post there you will need to register. Hope this helps

If U don't get an answer here U might try Air Forums. In our 77
Overlander there was some kind of blinds, because there is some kind of
plastic bracket each side of the window in the kitchen but they have
been replaced with mini-blinds by the PO. As for the gas shut off for
the Stove its possible its just above the floor behind the stove or
outside the bannana wrap underneath the trailer.

Some of the later models had leveling type blinds (1984ish) but, I
have no personal knowledge for your year..has
The oven( been my experiences) that you can get them to lite but, it's
not easy..Suggest you have a full propane tank and, then use the
burners on top for awhile to get the line pressure up. Then try the
oven. If it still doesn't work, I would suggest having a professional
check it out..Anything dealing with gas is potentially dangerous if
you're not familiar with it..Most of the cutoff for the Magic Chef
stoves can be found under the top cover..You just need to take the
burner grates off and, then pull hard..the top snaps in place..The
cutoff is usually to be found up front..Unless they did it differently
for your model. Again, I always vote for the service of a professional..
Good luck~!

Mike,
I agree with you..Andy of INLANDRV is extremely well versed in all
aspect of Airstream and, his business carries a HUGE inventory of
Airstream parts..Most of which are hard to find..Be sure to ask him
abt the stone guard for the window as well..:)
Good Luck..

Hi - I would like to sell my 1965 Airstream travel trailer - Model
Tradewind Land Yacht.

I got into upgrading/updating the trailer in 2005. My goal was to do
it as "Green" and "Eco-friendly" as possible. She'd just about be
there with a solar system installation. My idea was to create a
sustainable, "off-grid" living space for myself and my son.

The trailer has running water in kitchen and bath, all electricity and
interior lights work, new propane water heater, new propane stove
works, new air conditioner works great. New flooring (eco-friendly
marmoleum), beautiful warm original Honduran mahogany cabinets and
woodwork, and I repainted the walls inside with non-toxic low VOC
paint. As you can see in the photos on Picasa, 2 of the tires are flat
and need replacing.

Plumbing, electric and gas systems all work great. Water system works
great but after paying an RV dealer shop to repair the leaky toilet,
it still leaks. A handy, motivated person could easily fix it.

I towed her from Florida to California in the winter of 2005/2006 (see
photos). She hitched and towed beautifully - without a hitch! Very
aerodynamic, this little girl wants to go! I also lived in the trailer
with my son for about 2 months.

The trailer just has got a nice, cosy, home-y feel. Skip the hassle of
a new construction project and set up this trailer as a stand-alone
space up behind your house. Could serve as a perfect "mother-in-law"
suite, a studio, a workshop, 1 person could comfortably live in her.

The trailer is in great condition and could serve for many years to
come. With a little bit of work she'd be in top shape. The exterior
needs work if you want her polished and "shiny". There is also rust on
the frame but could be worked with for someone with the skill / budget
/ desire. You'd want to seal her up better for cold climate living.

More photos - click the link
http://picasaweb.google.com/zdelate/Airstream2008March

Please forgive the untidy state the interior appears in - I will have
her tidied up and post new photos as soon as possible.

I have a clean title and the original manual comes with the trailer. I
also have all the manuals for the new appliances.

Please give me a call at 352-262-8124 if you'd like to know more or
come check her out. I'd like to sell the trailer for $5500.00 but will
accept the best offer.

Thanks for checking out my posting!

gREETINGS~!
My generator of choice is the Honda eu3000i..
It's 3000 watts and, extremely quiet at 49dm. Runs, depends on the
load, up to 17 hrs on a tank. (around 3.4 gallons)Electric start as
well....manual if you need it..12 battery charge built in..etc
Downside is it's weight but...since you're not moving it..it should
be no problem..

This campaign is about Human beings, Democracy, UNHCR, Refugees, The Iraqis,
Islam, Kurds, Human rights, Respect, Money, Donations, Angelina Jolie,
Pavarotti, Giorgio Armani, Donors, Peace, History, Campaigns and about you if
you care about these words.

Hi there,

I am SAM, an Iraqi refugee living in Lebanon at the moment; I have spent the
last 10 years of my life as a refugee registered with the UNHCR in Beirut. The
last 4 years, I have spent as an activist for peace and human rights (especially
refugees and asylum seekers) on the Internet; I'm also books author and ebooks
publisher. I have launched many campaigns to improve our situation as refugees
in Lebanon and hopefully bring more understanding to our problems worldwide. I
helped make many changes and improvements at the UNHCR office in Beirut; I used
the Internet as the field for my activities (you can read more about that in my
free ebook 'MY CAMPAIGNS'). All my ebooks are free and could be download from my
sites.

This is my newest campaign, it's about the illegal and humiliating actions of
the UNHCR, who using photos of refugees as banners and human-buttons to collect
money. This is an abuse of the dignity and humanity of the refugees and must
stop immediately and a clear public apology present by The United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees. My friends, I am talking about the pictures you can
see here: http://unhcrlebanon.1clayhill.com/human-buttons.htm

Also you can read my new campaign 'Urgent, we need smile' here:
http://unhcrlebanon.orgfree.com/smile.html

For more info about UNHCR and life of refugees you can read my free ebooks. I
invite you as fellow humans and members of the world community to support my
campaign by reading my article on my site and see the human-buttons. The
campaign is to support and improve the UNHCR http://www.unhcr.org especially
after the last scandals in the UN and UNHCR, just for example:
http://www.mizzima.com/archives/news-in-2005/news-in-april/12-April05-22.htm

"We make demonstration and fast because the UNHCR office in Cairo did nothing
for our problem..." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4440730.stm

Together we will build better world.

All the furniture and fixtures were gone, as is the case with the

Some of the windows of the cottages facing the Highway were broken.

One client this weekend came and bought a product to insulate his
RV,i sell it for residential/commercial construction but looking at
their website i can see why he is using it in his RV- its about 1/4"
and has and R value of 18! take a look if you need anything to
insulate this is it http://www.reflectixinc.com/facts/
We also sale many other environmentally friendly products like paints
and adhesives.
sorry for the blatant sale but it really is an excellent product with
many uses, and... i am also looking for an RV to restore (will gut
it), airstream/streamline pref- if you know of one please let me know
thank you

I have a 1977 Airstream for sale, Inside is in excellent shape, I
bought it but was never able to use it, never worked on the brakes so
I'm not sure what shape they are in. I'm located near Daytona Beach,
FL.
If anyone is interested let me know through e-mail or post on this
