Hey everyone! Its cool to see people are still posting and helping
each other out. I have been REALLY out of the loop with AirSpeed VW
for a while now... Mostly because of financial constraints.. ie:
I've been spending all my "fun" money on m VW R32. (The parts are
ALOT more expensive.... for example, a top of the line suspension kit
is between 1600.00 and 1900.00, and the cheapest is around 700.00 for
coilovers. ) Ugh.,. Anyway.

I still have my 1970 blue bug with the 2387cc in it. No carbs on it
currently.. I was thinking about getting Fuel Injected 48s, and a
Porsche fan shroud since my scat fan shroud is all rusted and falling
apart. Also I need my exhaust re-coated silver and a need a new
throttle linkage, and a little bit of body work, tires and new engine
mounts. Also possibly I was thinking about taking out the FK-89 and
replacing it with an Engle W-140 or something so I have more torque on
the street. The FK-89 makes it feel too progressive and not torqey
enough down low. Are there are new cams out or High performance new
stuff available? Have there been any changes in performance parts and
availability since a few years ago?
