Currently I have 2 - a 73 Baja -1600 duel port, and my baby (that gets parked
in the garage with the 04 Chevy sits out side) 67 Orginal, have been able to
keep it looking great, but has some extras, a 1776, w/2 barrel Weber, a Scat
fast shift and some orginal centerline wheels. In the process of winter
maintenance. New tires, new shocks. new brakes and seal up the bug pack exhaust.
If any one knows a great way to seal the gaskets (hi-temp RTV lasts about
6-8months) that lasts more that a 2 seasons please let me know.
And my boy has a 71 that he is selling needs some body work and an engine. He
let someone else drive it while he was workin up state and the kid run it out of
oil. It has a rod sticken out the top of the block. A very ugly scene for a less
than 6 K on the 1500.
So Happy Trails and good luck on you quest.
