They just did the engine flush and they said that it was full of black sludge. That means the oil they put in yesterday and drained out was totally sludgey....
It's a lot more possible that a chunk of gunk came loose when the fresh oil went in (it IS detergent oil -- which "cleans" things) and the chunk got stuck...
