This is a place to share info about converting your Yamaha SR500 into a Cafe Racer or Roadrace bike. Included here is many reference photos, weights, dimensions, and alot of other things that I have gathered from various sites on the web. If ANY thing you see here is yours and you do not want it here, let me know and I will remove it. I am not trying to violate any copyright laws here, All that I want to do is to have, in one place, as much info as possible on modifying the Yamaha SR500 without having to search all over the web for it.

Due to the lack of interest here(only a handful of posts in the last few months)I will no longer be taking membership requests. I will probably sometime in the future make it "read only". Once that is done, it can not be reversed so I want to be sure.
