Get the manual, an Ohm meter, and the specs and yes stop the insanity. Or consult a tech who is skilled in these matters and it will save you tons of dough.

My 2 Cents ... Stop the insanity. Replacing parts blindly without proper diagnosis will cost you 10 x as much time, and 5 x as much $$. Find a solid baseline,
