You Will Need To Have  A New Thermostat Installed By Bypassing The One It Came
With.Wind The Temperature Sensor Of The New Thermostat On The Cold Refrigerant
Line Going Into The Car Cabin AndTowards The Fan Blower From Within The Engine
Compartment.(Thermostat Cost NGN1,500) .InstallationFee Can Be
Negotiated.AboutNGN2000
 
Disconnect The Two Wires That Go To The Pressure Switch On Top Of The Receiver
Dryer And Instead Reroute These Wires To The Contacts Of The New Thermostat.
 
 You Can Now Adjust And Fine Tune The Time Interval Which This New Switch
Actuates The AC Compressor To Ensure Efficient Cooling.
 
Run A Leak Test On The Joints And Couplings.Buy Three  Small 300g Refrigerant
Cans(about NGN700 Each) And Refill.Refill Workmanship Cost NGN2000 PHC PRICE.

Bespoke roof bars for Mazda Xedos 6 with 2 bike racks (one unused).
Genuine Mazda parts. £40 ono

The bars and the racks are all lockable, though I don't have all the
keys. I believe new barrels can be bought from Thule, who made these
items to Mazda's specifications.
Parts are present, though dusty and one or two have cosmetic damage,
but as far as I know, will work on the car.

If you are lucky enough to own one of these brilliant cars (still miss
mine 5 years on) and need roof bars, you should have the proper Mazda
part...

getting are in the range of £1500-£2000 plus VAT. I was wondering if
anyone has dealt with companies like Jap Parts etc are reliable for
such things like Gearboxes, Their prices range from £200-£450. That
includes VAT and Delivery. I would love to haer from anyone who has had
such dealings with companies like this. or if anyone in the

Hi, I'm reluctantly selling my L reg (1992) Xedos 6, mileage 92,000  The
car is MOT'd until October 08', it will need some work doing to get it
through the next MOT:

   * Rear brakes including calipers will need replacing.

   * One of the rear springs or a shocker went last week, but the car is
     drivable..

In addition: The timing belt hasn't been changed, but this is not an MOT
requirement General Condition: The vehicle is in reasonable condition for
its age and runs very well.Bodywork: Rear passenger door has a dent +
minor sratches on body and boot lid lip has some minor corrusion. Any
reasonable offer seriously considered. The car would be idea for someone
who owns or knows about the Xedos, an enthusiast perhaps. Thank you.Mark

Hi everyone,

One of my front coil springs has gone on my 1992 Xedos 6 SE. Not bad
after 220,000 miles!  Having problems sourcing two replacement ones
though at a sensible cost, given age and value of vehicle etc. Anyone
have any ideas please?

I had similar leak and had to have replacement water pump; independent garage
did it, and charged total of £300 including parts and labour, but also replaced
the cam belt included in price at the same time as was easy to do whilst doing
the water pump.
