Anyone fitted a Bee Sting Aerial to your Xedos 6?

To all of those who might have a similar engine mount problem, I have
the solution. Instead of paying £147 (what mazda charge because it
comes from Japan LOL)

I read on http://importnut.net/motormount.htm a way to repair damaged
engine mounts.

It worked a treat. I couldn't use the windo weld they suggested, as it
is unavailable in the UK. I used silkaflex 221 (40 shore)
I did it on saturday, and put it on on sunday evening, and it does
seem to have cut down on engine movement. i'm not sure the material
had fully cured, or that it is hard enough, but time will tell.

Now, i think the cause of the engine movement could be something else.
The mount getting damaged was a symptom, not the cause.

I think it must be either the mixture or ignition system.
I fitted a throttle body from the 2.5 L, and it gives my car some much
needed torque, but i've not had it tuned since.
My car knowledge says its ignition. i suspect the rotor arm as the
only moving part of the ignition system. What do you guys think.
anyone experienced something similar?

A bit fiddly to fit and I ended up just cutting the connector off and using
“chocolate block” connectors to reconnect the cables. Also, the mounting is
a bit fiddly but worth persevering. The official Mazda aerial costs about
£320 !!!!!

While I was replacing the rocker gasket on my xedos 6 1.6 I noticed a
lot of carbon/black deposits inside so I decided to flush the engine.
Now I'm getting smoke on cold starts, and there is a very slight
grinding noise to the engine for about 15 seconds.
Should I drain and renew the oil or leave it?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
