Dedicated to Wuling truck and van owners and support. Although Wuling vehicles are capable of speeds in excess of 60 MPH, they are limited by the U.S. government to a maximum speed of 25 MPH with the use of a governor. They are not legal on U.S. roads but some local governments may allow limited use and also some states will allow use on public roads. Some states will also allow use on public roads if licensed as an ATV! These vehicles get 40+ MPG! Unlike most imports from Japan which are right hand drive, Wuling Trucks and Vans are available in right or left hand drive models!
Wuling is partially owned by GM which has a 34% stake in the company in China and Wuling even manufacters the Chevy Spark passenger car for foreign markets! Members are encouraged to post any comments regarding the use of KEI trucks on public roads in the states where they live for the benefit of all members.
