Sigh...  sorry to vent, but I wasted a lot of time and money based on
their poor management practices.

JF,
I've had that happen to me before as well, very frustrating! But
there is a sign about a mile after you turn off of 74 that will tell
you if the area is open so you don't have to drive all the way to the
gate.
