| After making plans, buying day passes and driving all the way up there, I find a locked gate. Nice. I checked the website the night before, and it said the area is open. Also, I found it extremely annoying the locked gate is in an area with no turnaround, so I had to backout in reverse 1/2 mile with my trailer - wow that was fun. I feel sorry for the two people I passed on the way back home heading in that direction. Called the Trabuco Ranger station and they said its closed to clear debris, and they admitted the website is out of date, but didn't really have anything else to say other than they will call me back. Sigh... sorry to vent, but I wasted a lot of time and money based on their poor management practices. JF |
