Thanks for the help. I spent a lot of time trying to get the chrome off the shocks, I should have just asked. This is the first time for me to try and restore

Fred, I never had much luck with successfully removing many of the upper, inner, shock covers. I cut them off, too. Rocky's has sold these separately in the
