YES -- Gear MUST be fixed....Repeat MUST be fixed.....You DONT have to pull the heads off to change the gears or the chain...get your self a GOOD FACTORY...

There is no actual factory set amount of turns out. They usually ran them fairly lean at 1 and half turns out, but would vary sometimes between 3/4 and 2 turns...
