... I would tend to agree. Even Kevlar changes/compromises with age - it's not worth the risk of eating a valve or two to stretch another 4 years out of a 8

on these cars the glowplugs activate every time the car is started, any temperature... maybe not for long but the do come on everytime the key is cycled to

You didn't mention how cold we're talking about here. "Cold" for Florida probably isn't cold enough to gel BD, unless it's made from something weird like palm
