I seriously doubt it. You don't always have to follow the Bentley. It is just a guide. There are shortcuts but you will probably have to work from the wheel...

So my 2000 1.8T GTI's been bucking/had loss of power and was sure it was the MAF - had it replaced once under warranty already and things were fine before it...
Oh and as a follow-up question - is there even such a thing on our cars or did that part disappear since we have coil packs? ... it ... things ... when I ... ...
