Yeah, it could be the bulbs are burnt out. It seems most MK4s blow out their brake light bulbs within the first two years so it would certainly be possible...

Not many are, the 3.2 liters is N/a and is a real bitch to tune....i hope the 1.8t upgrade will be better.... Subaru offers a AWD for 25g VW cant do it...
