Btw,
forgot to update but removal and cleaning of the throttle body in
conjunction with the "ghetto" reset procedure (disconnect battery,
remove TB and clean, re-install, turn key to "ON" for 3 minutes, turn
back to "OFF", then start the car) has turned this vehicle from the
bucking bronco that it was into the showhorse that I love again!

So my 2000 1.8T GTI's been bucking/had loss of power and was sure it was the MAF - had it replaced once under warranty already and things were fine before it...
