Hello all,
I downloaded the files, connected to the car (Marea 1.6) and all worked fine.
Then I started to translate the .def-file into german because I'm german and
it's much easier for me if the items appear in that language.
Most items i was able to translate but at these three I don't understand what
the meaning is.
Would it be possible to you to give me an explanation what these following
means? - If I know what kind of information the item shows I can translate it.
1st.
What is ment with "Throttle Repeater"? What does this in a car? - How can I
repeat a throttle?
2nd.
What does "Power-latch duration" say to me? - The only thing I can imagine - but
not believe - is that this could show how long I started with the start-key
(ignition). But is this true?
3rd.
And then the items "Coil 1 charge time" and "Coil 2 charge time".
What is a coil? why is it charged? what is normal then?
The last question is if I should upload the german definition-file after I have
finished creating it?
Does this bring benefit to you or is it uninteressting?
Sorry about my awful english but I hope you'd understand what I ment.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Rudolf

Ah, so there is an extra base value that you have to subtract to get the various group DTCs.
Subtract 0x4000 for frame, 0x8000 for body and 0xC000 for communications

I'm trying to connect to my Motorcycle ECU, and have had limited success.
It responds to a KWP2000 fast init, but then I cannot get any other response -
Tester - 0x81 0x12 0xf1 0x81 0x05
ECU - 0x80 0xf1 0x12 0x03 0xc1 0xea 0x8f 0xc0
From here I try both 3 and 4 byte headers, but no response, even to "Tester
Present" or other requests.
Any ideas?
Hey folks,
I got two errors on my sisters Punto. It's an 188 '01 1.2 16V.
The DTCs are 0xD702 and 0x1135. Has anyone a desription for them?
And one question in general: When I look for OBD troublecodes reference tables
on the net, I only find references for codes like Pxxx, Cxxx, etc. The codes
Unidiag uses start with 0x, so they seem to be hex codes, is that correct? Is
there any possibility to convert them to the common ones to discover their

It means it is trying to correct your mixture, but even at maximal correction, it doesn't work. The most common cause for this is a worn MAF sensor. They can be replaced by either the OEM part, some brandless chinese sensor, or a replacement sensor from Pierburg. I and many others (also VW and Mercedes mechanics) have found the Pierburg sensors a very good replacement that usually lasts longer than the OEM sensor.
