I had a problem, how could i fit my ancient Packerd bell sat nav onto my trophy
and make it waterproof on a low budget.
it is so old it asks you to make sure the horse is properly attached before you
start your journey.!!
Did'nt want to drill any holes or do anything that could not be removed without
trace.
The answer:-

Bought a clip lid sandwich box from Tescos (£1.95), 3 feet of black 1" car
heater hose(£3),A cigar lighter with cable and fuse off ebay £3.and some black
cable ties.

paint the sandwich box (optional) cut the centre of the lid out and glue a piece
of glass in ,drill a hole to allow charge wires etc to feed into the box.The
black heater hose is cable tied to the 2 concave handle bar raiser and bends to
fit.
drill holes in the back of the box and attach to the hose with cable ties.
power socket is cable tied to rubber pipe .

ok you can't use the touch screen without taking off the lid, but I have used it
for 2 weeks now in rain and shine and it works great.

This is the mark 1 version, could be tidier, but bit took me less than an hour
to fit, cost me under £10 and if i take it off it will leave no damage.
