Fork oil weight question   Message List

Planning ahead for my upcoming next major service at 37,000 miles, and I am
going to do the fork oil and fork seals at the same time.

Looking in the Haynes manual, it says that post VIN42275 (my 2003 1200 is
VIN65xxx) needs SAE 10W-20 oil. I cannot find anyone who sells that twin
viscosity oil, people only seem to sell single weight oils - 10W, 15W etc.

Any ideas? Is using 15W the best option?
