Caladium Festival and Antique & Classic Car Show Lake Placid, Florida

FL2-O Treasure Coast Wings had 11 bikes out for Saturday, August 29, 2009 ride.

They meet up at Pogey's Restaurant in Okeechobee for breakfast before heading
out to Lake Placid. Ten bikes and fifteen members and guest made the ride to
Lake Placid passing through the caladium fields along the way.

Once in Lake Placid we parked off Main Street where the caladium festival was
being held. We were able to walk the streets and enjoy the vendors, music,
murals and then cross the tracks and visit over one hundred cars, trucks, and
bikes at the classic car show.

Then after a short rain shower we packed up and headed out stopping at Golden
Corral for some vittles before heading home.

Riders: Okeechobee John, Mike, Lee and new GW owners Dale and Linda. TC members
Gary and Amelia, Ken and Linda, Greg and Percy, Corey and Lauren brought two
trike guests Carolyn and Tom, Danny and Lori and Jerry West from Vero Beach.
