It's a 6M. I didn't think that the XRS came in Auto :-) I love the 6 speed shifter and the playing with the revs. Anyways, OT there... I haven't tried...

If you hear the noise in neutral, try slightly pressing the clutch. If that makes the noise disappear then more than likely if is the Clutch Release bearing....

Brian, Just checked on that rattling again.. it rattles even when in neutral, so it's probably a heat shield or something. Didn't seem to make a difference...
