This is a moderated group in which the main focus is on diesel-powered vintage Oldsmobiles such as the Delta 88, Ninety-Eight, Cutlass, Toronado and Custom Cruiser, as well as other GM makes (cf. Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, Chevrolet Caprice, Pontiac Bonneville/Parisienne) which used the 5.7 liter diesel V-8 (B- and C-body rear-drive, A/G-body rear-drive and E-body front-drive chassis types) or the 4.3 liter diesel V-6 (A- and C-body front-drive and G-body rear drive chassis), of which all variations were sold at one point between 1978 up until the spring of 1985.
