| Notes: | This unimproved staging area is fairly big. Do not drive into the Packer Lake turnoff but continue uphill past the lake. the steep climb will take you to an open area on the right. No campfires allowed so skip the wood. Keep the single dirt road clear for other campers to pass by your rig to the back country. Bring hiking shoes for the hike to the worlds most awesome lookout tower.Many cross country hikes can be done here to numerous lakes but the riding is so cool you probably wont have time unless you do an extended stay. | |
