Description
The Diablo chapter of the Trail Bike Sportsmen Association is located in Northern California. We are a non profit group formed to encourage and sponsor trail bike activities and to promote and encourage trail bike riding as a social, recreational and sporting activity which can be enjoyed by the entire family, of both riding and non riding members.
Our general purposes are to promote public acceptance of trail bikes through educational programs to members and others through self imposed restrictions as may become apparent. To establish work agreements with any of the governmental land use agencies for the performance of conservation and land maintenance tasks. To encourage the establishment of trail bike groups and thereby increase the number of trail bike riders supporting the aforementioned programs. To provide a means for dissemination of information regarding land use, present and future.
We schedule outings which range from one day to four day long weekend camp outs. We have social activities during the year which cater to all age groups. Some highlights are group trail rides, pot luck feasts, visits from the Easter bunny and Santa, a Junior trials event for kids under 18, a hot-dog ride with a picnic on the trail and a news letter. This site is for the communication of our members who can upload events to our calendar and create photo albums or add to existing albums.
