Has anyone converted a series 2 XKE (6 cylinder, 2 Zenith-Stromerg
carbs) to thrttle body injection? I'm interested in pursuing this if
it's doable fairly easily. My car has the exhaust manifolds on the
opposite side of the engine so I'm not too worried about leaking fuel
hitting a hot exhaust (had that happen once in an old Dino, actually an
oil leak onto the exhaust, and boy was I lucky to be right in front of
a gas station with their fire extinguisher. Ended up with only a small
scorch mark and no damage).

Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has done this
conversion or who is about to attempt it. My only other option to get
rid of the "Stangleborgs" is a whole new intake manifold with new carbs
plus a new exhaust manifold. Major $$$ and time and then I'll have 3
carbs to keep synched. Thanks for any info.

The Zenith-Stromberg carbs are 1.75 inch rather than 2 inch on the late sixties and early seventies Jags. That is why the carb model designation is a 175CD. ...

I musta had a brain fart. Im quite aware of the ZS crbs on my E's, and that they are used on early XJ6's. I made some adapters for original 2 inch SU's and...
