Love to see your TPS photos as I don't have a manifold to look at.
Your method sounds better than me making new throttle shafts!
I was thinking about doing the flat tops first as they would work
nicely when converted to TBI. It would make use of a carb that might
otherwise be discarded. But if there is more demand for the four
screw round tops they can be done first.
