a guy over in North Seattle used to completely rebuild these - I got mine done
when I had my head gaskets done about a year ago, so I could track mileage since
that point - I think it was around $100 or so? It was some radiator shop -
can't remember exactly the name - over on Lake City Way - but not sure if he's
still around....

anyone has ever touched it cept to do a quick brush off. Plus I wanted to see if
I could find and fix some intermittent problems that I had been experiencing.
Taking it apart was fairly straight forward, with no incidents. What I found
though was a problem however. Some of the hold down tabs where cracked. Some
minor points had cracked and where missing, but worst of all the Plastic
Membrane / Circuit Pathway was coming apart at the point where the electrical
connector goes on.
