Double check both the lights and fuses, much easier to swap in some known
good parts just to be sure. It happens on occation where a bulb or fuse
that looks good, still doesn't work.
The switch would have to be either on the transmission itself, or near the
gear shift lever.
I had a Ford Granada that the reverse light switch went out all the time
because it was mounted under the car in the weather, got gummed up and
wouldn't turn off. I finally just wired it to a manual switch on the dash,
which also worked great for tailgaters.
