... cause ... I think it is an electrical problem. Spark plug boot, coil connections, fuel starvation. Pull the spark plug boot off and re-seat it on the plug....

It sounds fuel related. Possible bad fuel but it would be noticeable throughout you're ride. With it going only so far and my guess its always about the same...
